HAYMAKERS
When a fighter is stuck in a corner or about to lose his consciousness.. He’ll throw haymaker after haymaker, praying that one will land and make him victorious in his final efforts of survival… I believe this represents the state of men today.
When a man enters a ring or octagon, or even a street fight, the other man suddenly becomes an enemy, rather than competition. Instinctively, biology shifts, emotion changes, and a precise sense of hate becomes the fuel for survival.
As Men, we own the responsibility of entering the fight daily… Deep down, we might know we are capable of being the ace in this fight called life. But that fearless mindset is often covered with fragile flesh. Like a flower, rotting in the sun.
The enemy in this fight isn’t another man. Nor is it ourselves.
The enemy is evil, and we must fight for good.
Proverbs 8:13 “To Fear the Lord is to hate evil…”
FEAR GOD. HATE EVIL. LOVE ALL.
